This is part of what I do for a living.

I was raised in analysis- so venting my mania, neurosis, and rage through pictures now comes very naturally (which is better than pulling my own teeth out- which used to be what came naturally when I was a child). My teeth are very appreciative of my artwork.

    Fearless, twisted, wildly imaginative.

Wow, your work is so brilliant, and so emotional. I first discovered your work when I bought Wake Up Screaming by F-minus and researched the poster inside, which I loved and now have on my wall, and since then I’ve loved your work. What inspires you, any artists in particular?

Thank you!!!!! I really love the old masters, and the classic Religious paintings (which is funny because I’m anti-religion). But the heavy use of symbolic imagery, the decorative embellishments, and how the figures were all “posed”- I can’t get enough of them.
But the personal inspiration that spawns all my pieces is irritation pertaining to human behavior, rage, disgust, sadness, and isolation. It’s my therapy. And I can purge all the icky feelings so that I’m able to function and be happy.
Art therapy is my higher power.

Disturbingly beautiful. I love the contrasts of the Victorian style colors and figures with a surrealistic gruesomeness. Now, say that phrase with your mouth filled with marbles. “Surrealistic gruesomeness.”

I just tried to make my 10 year old son say that 5 times fast. It was pretty funny.
Thank you for your lovely compliments!!!
