There’s no denying it- Obama DOMINATED the debats last night…

27 Sep

So here’s what I heard when watching last nights debate:

McCain: babble babble, old man stories, babble babble, cough-cough, babble, random use of historic trivia in desperate attempt to sound patriotic and knowledgable, babble, pregnant pause waiting for applause- oops! there is no applause during a DEBATE!!!, issue dodging, muddled abstract babble babble, comparing heights of North and South Koreans (huh?  where the fuck did that come from), more awkward and vague babble, “I KNOW HENRY KISSINGER” (um, who cares?), babble babble babble, “Obama has no experience!” and then praising his running mate (ha ha ha!! bullshit, much?), babble babble, cough…. you get the idea.

Obama: Totally polished with his thoughts together, a little bit of “politician double-speak bullshit” here and there- but not overwhelming, a touch of babble- but that’s to be expected, stayed on point 95% of the time, didn’t need to rely on stupid dramatic stories (though he did get sucked into the “I have a bracelet too!!” weirdness that didn’t pertain to anything), didn’t go into as much economic detail as I personally would have liked but gave enough key points to show he knew what the fuck he was talking about, only a couple “Um…’s” here and there, unflustered, well knowledged, and full on good.

They both seemed to be really trying to stay civil in order to not alienate any voters out there- which was impressive because the primaries were pretty vicious.  But there’s no denying that Obama handles pressure so much better than Old Man McCain- and Obama is totally on top of the issues.

Here’s a great little video that one of my darling friends just emailed to me…. enjoy:

Sarah Silverman on voting for Obama

And now… I need more coffee.

oh!…. and everyone needs to watch the video on this link: Is Palin Ready to be President?

It’s HILARIOUS, and she gets BUTCHERED!!!  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Did we count how many times McCain said ‘What Obama doesn’t understand…”?? Because by the time i realized he had said it at least 5 times & started counting, he said it at least 5 more after that.
Also, was i the only one who was surprised to realize that Henry Kissinger is still alive? AND, if i’m surprised that your friends aren’t dead yet… what does that say about your age bracket?!
[Too old to be president!! That’s what!!]

And each time McCain said “What Obama doesn’t understand…”, Obama jumped up and slammed McCain to the ground with every possible way he DOES understand, and all the ways he’s gonna make the U.S. boo-boo’s better.

McCain showed his bumbling old man card to the nation. Let’s just hope everyone was paying attention.

I can’t WAIT for the VP candidate debate. I somehow think that might even be more interesting than last night’s. I wonder what Palin will do without her beloved teleprompter.

It will be HILARIOUS!!!! I’m really really excited for it, too!!

I knew I was not crazy and he did actually make an “asian height comparasion” !

I love when he was talking about the “League of Democracy”, it sounds like a good idea but he’s making it seem like he’s superman or someshit and he’s waiting for his wondertwins and crew.

Sidenote: why the hell is he like 5,000 years old?! I can’t belive people like that old grump !

I’m sort of dreading the VP candidate debate because Palin scares the shit out of me. But then again, I wonder how long she can hold on to her “I’m a woman and have more experience than Obama” thing. My dad says she’s right about the experience thing but I don’t think it counts in her case. Alaska has like what-500 people? I live in NYC so her figures mean nothing to me.

Here we got to see some sort of “Reaction Meter”. That was rather interesting in that when Obama spoke there was at least some reaction (mostly positive but at least a reaction). When McCain spoke there was generally little reaction. My take on this is because, as you mentioned, he wasn’t saying anything or answering any of the questions put to him. At least Obama was answering questions, making points, etc.

I’m looking forward to the pit-bull fight of the V.P. debates next too.

McCain looked angrier and angrier every time Obama made a point or clarified one of McCain’s lies. I had to pause and rewind to re-watch McCain’s face twist into hatred–clearly illustrating that he had no issues to stand on as Obama clarified all of McCain’s positions that may appeal to some (he was awesome explaining the business tax).

In case you haven’t seen it…

Sorry, somehow I always get embedding wrong, try this:

Did you see SNL last night? I have been trying to find a clip for you, but maybe they aren’t out yet b/c I can’t find it. They mocked her interview with Couric.

I saw a little clip from SNL of that skit… where Palin kept trying to use a “lifeline”…. it was AMAZING!!!
Yesterday I got really caught up in reading other postings on the debates. I couldn’t pull away from it. The McCain supporters’ responses were horrifying.
There all so goddamn ignorant and elitist. I actually got sucked in and was responding on some of the blogs. Some crotch-rot bitch was actually belittling a girl on there who supports Obama wanting to aid in young people being able to get a college education if they can’t afford it. Crotch-rot was saying that if kids didn’t work hard enough in highschool to be able to get scholarships or couldn’t get student loans, then it was their own damn fault. What Crotch-rot doesn’t realize is that the more uneducated our nation is, the more it will decline. We NEED for the youth to be educated!! We NEED for their educations to not be denied to them in order for our future to be protected. But Crotch-rot is one of those republican vomit-bags who doesn’t want to help out anyone unless they see some benefit. They don’t understand that to help out people in need helps out our national community as a whole. They just see it as a “hand-out”. Fuck you to hell, Crotch-rot. Go choke on cancer.
